Tortuga strives to make travel easier for students by broadening their experience beyond their college campuses, so the Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship is giving $1,000 to passionate students striving to experience the world on a student’s budget.
Read all the eligibility requirements thoroughly and fill out the application on the Tortuga website. Only one submission per person will be accepted.
To apply for the Fall 2025 scholarship, submit your application by the deadline. The winner will be announced on April 30, 2025.
This scholarship is limited to the spring and fall semesters and can’t be used on Maymesters, or summer or winter term programs.
Tortuga may feature the winner on their blog, social media accounts, and alumni page.
The winner of the Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship will be awarded:
$1,000 scholarship for studying abroad
1 travel backpack
Funds will be sent directly to the winner’s study abroad program or university. If this isn’t possible, alternative arrangements will be made. Winners may use the scholarship for tuition, room and board, books, or travel.
